To all esteemed stakeholders and port users!
On behalf of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS), it is my great honor to present our unwavering commitment to serving as the Kingdom of Cambodia’s vital economic gateway to international markets.
First and foremost, I wish to express my deepest gratitude and highest respect to the Royal Government of Cambodia, under the wise leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. My sincere thanks also go to our supervisory ministries—the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Ministry of Economy and Finance—as well as the local authorities. Your continuous strategic guidance and support are the bedrock of our stability and growth.
The past two years have marked a proud chapter in our history despite facing global challenges and numerous operational hurdles, the tireless efforts and dedication of the management and all staff employees of PAS have yielded brilliant results. We have achieved a significant progress through the increase in cargo throughput. Notably, in 2025, our container throughput volume reached a historic milestone of over 1.3 million TEUs, representing a remarkable growth of more than 30% compared to 2024.
In the current context of geopolitical shifts and global economic uncertainty, PAS remains proactive. We are collaborating closely with our development partners through the Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the Government of Japan—marking the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Japan and Cambodia this year—to expand our port infrastructure on a grander scale. Our New Deep-Sea Container Terminal Project is specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of port users. This expansion will allow large-scale vessels to berth directly, significantly reducing shipping time and costs, and ensuring that Cambodia maintains high competitiveness within the global supply chain.
Moving forward, I wish to reaffirm our high commitment to transforming PAS into a Regional Port and Logistic Hub with functions of Smart Port and Green Port.
